I have a leakage appeared on kithen celling,appeared when was havy raining that day.It is a house split into two flats and i live on the top floor.I have a building insurance,but i dont know am i covered in this situation.Probably the rain was getting through the roof.Any sugestions?

If you are renting your policy will not cover the dwelling only your contents against certain perils...contact your carrier AND the owner of the property.
