What should I do from accident with no insurance in Missouri

Made a police report, filed docs with DMV to require SR22 filing, not considered at fault, had to take daughter to hospital for minor injuries (constusion), damage total is $460 (includes alignment that was required but willing to let this go $55) and rental car of $146 (but willing to take only 3 days - took longer at shop than they expected). Originally asked for $615 and they offered $415. I refused. Do I have the right to go back and change my mind? They gave me a card for an extremely crooked attorney and told me to contact him. Do I take them to small claims court or what should I do?
