My husband and I are going to try and get conceive within the next few months. I am considered high risk and will most likely be taken off work because of this, but also because I am a prison nurse. To supplement my income I had been looking into Aflac, but they have a 10 month waiting period. Is their any other disability insurance that does not have as long of a waiting period?

You can get a disability insurance policy with as short a waiting period (also known more formally as an elimination period) as 30 days.

Here's the rub, as a prison nurse you'll need to qualify exactly what it is you do a little better. What type of nursin certification or degree do you hold?

What exactly do you mean by "I'm considered high risk?" Most of the time regular pregnancy is not covered under individual disability insurance (these are mostly intended to what is considered a long term disability, which is usually something that lasts for longer than 3 months).
