Currently there are no restrictions in Florida regarding the use of electronic devices in vehicles. I was just talking to a friend of mine the other day, who is an attorney in Tampa. It looks like you were trying to say "BlackBerry" in the subject title. I have apps on my Berry that allow me to do just about everything, including texting and email hands free. There are so many options with cellphones nowadays. I don't know why more people don't take advantage of technology. As matter of fact, this message was sent doing 65mph on I-70 in MO.

In other states, texting or cell phone operation without "hands free", can be considered reckless driving.

In Florida would it be considered reckless driving?

Since there are currently no restrictions, I would have to say no.
