I am a Missouri resident. My vehicle was stolen, recovered wrecked. The repairs may have or will possibly exceed 80% of the actual value of the vehicle. Am I required to keep the vehicle if the repairs exceed the 80%?

Lori,
Thank you, your are correct by "progressive", I did mean as the repairs were made and more damages were found. I was told by my insurance that the actual cash value was $17223. We were at 13,002 in repairs/damages, and there are more to be added today.

OH...well..I would think (depending on the carrier's sal. arrangements and your vehicles damages) that 'most' 17k vehicles would carry a salvage value of 2-3-4k...what about airbags, tow bill and sales tax? Do you know how much of these make up the 13k? 80% of your acv would be 13778.40....but again, airbags, tow/storage bill, and sales tax come out of this...

Have you come right out and asked your adjuster about this?
