If you have specifically listed that person as a driver on your policy, then they will have coverage.
If you are asking if there is coverage for people that are not listed on your policy, that is a little more difficult to answer. In most cases, it will depend on how often someone drives your car and whether or not they have regular access to your car. To get an accurate answer to that question, I would recommend you to contact your agent directly. The answer can vary from state to state an even in some cases, from company to company.

Very true. Most of the time anyone would be covered as long as they are a permissive user, are not excluded from your policy and don't drive the vehicle often (live in the household) but as mentioned, state laws are different. For example in some states if the person is not listed, the liability limits are lowered to the state minimum.

I worked for a pretty restrictive company and they would not cover any regular users that were not listed on the policy even if they were not living in the household. They defined a "regular" user as one who drove the car more than once per policy period (6 months or annual). Generally a non excluded, non household resident with permission can use your car and be covered. Do check with your company and policy.
