my car was parked and nobody was in it do i still am i still responsible for paying my deductable even if it wasn't my fault.

Yes. Per your policy agreement under your coillision coverage. However, I have seen in some rare cases where a carrier has waived a deductible in certain situations.

If you carry uninsured/underinsured property damage (UMPD), that coverage often has a collision deductible waiver, which would apply to a situation such as yours.

Great question and I can certainly understand your frustration, but the fact of the matter is, yes, you will be responsible to pay your deductible. Depending on the state you are in though, if you are carrying uninsured motorists and that state allows for that coverage to apply to your vehicle, you may find that deductible to be lower than if you filed the claim under your collision coverage.
