i got rear ended at a stop on a red light with a car infront

he swearved to the left to avoid hitting me dead on instead he swaerved to the left turning lane and he hit the leftrear side bumber. he got away on the left lane. after the hit. his front bumber fell off with his licence plates on it thats how police got him. they say it was not a hit and run i think differantly dont you? he went all the way home with a surprise for him, the police. he returned but my question is that would have he returned if the police did not asked him to. and isnt it ellegal to leave the seen . well ontop of everything his insurer says they are not liable are they.?i am surprised at after all the police reports this insurance has the nerve to say they are not liable. :roll:
