i was recently in a car accident... i was found at fault... i only have liabilty ccoverage which the limit is 10000.... .... both cars where totaled.....no one was injured and no one went to the emergency room at the scene...i am a single mom .... have no other income expect my job... i live in florida.... can the other party sue me.... or will they expect the payout amount of 10000.... my insurance comapny also told me that the other party might not have collision or comprehensive coverage as well.... can i be sued if anyone was hurt...or will the other party take the pay out amount?

They can but mostly likely will take the settlement which your carrier will handle and provide you assitanc eif you get sued.

Trench I don't think Flordia 'requires' BI coverage (I know I couldn't hardly believe it either :roll: )...so the OP may not have BI..
Your carrier will not pay out a nickel without a release..so if the other parties accept their pro-rata share of your coverage limit, then no they cannot sue you, (that's what the release prevents).
As to the injury do you have any BI coverage?
