my wife is 60 this happened when she was 3 days from retirement and she hurt bad for over 2 months
i only want reasonable compensation not a court fight.

Did the party who hit her have insurance? Was there a police report? Are you in a PIP state? If the other party had insurance your damages and pain and suffering shiould be padi by that company. Your policy's med pay coverage may also be available.
