Accident damage to my 2001 Avalon probably includes a broken axle on the front passenger side. Hood is bent, front bumper is a wreck, and the front quarter panel will have to be replaced. Will they total it? I have just over 100,000 miles and it was my stupid fault.

Depends on the cost and the value of the vehicle. Without knowing either, it's not possible to tell. Insurance companies usually consider a vehicle a total loss when the cost to repair is 80% of it's value.I'd guess at a repair cost close to $4,000. This appears to only be about 50% of it's value so I'd say most likely it would not be a total loss.

When I looked up Blue Book it was around 5000-6000 so I guess it is toast. Thanks

Oops... I saw about $5k for the value so I would agree... as long as the repair cost is $4k or more. It might not be,

Sorry to hear about your loss. But are you sure yet that you car is going to be totaled. Please update this discussion, when you hear from insurance company. Hope things work out for you.
