Similar, my mother passed after caring for her for 20 years.

She lived on her own till it was to hard for her,lived with me for about 3 years,then fell during Hurricane Wilma,needed a hospital, was released but it was asked if I would let her go for Physical Therapy at a place that is also a nurcing home.Thhey had her for 3 years/5 months, during which I divorced,was used by her family financially and then my mother fell twice the same day & evening @7PM and then 1:30am.She was rushed to the hospital and fell into a coma for 8 days.I never, asked who she was insured by even though both my father who passed in 1993, was insured by Eqitable.My mother I do not know.I found out that she collected after my father passed but they were married 60 years,always covered everything,and I know she had a policy,knowing my mother.This is,I am sorry, the long version of what has happened and the help I need.
