I have a vehicle that has insurance on it and a so called friend of mine took this car without my permission, drove it, and got into an accident. It was their fault. Will my insurance still cover this? And will I be canceled by my insurance because of this?

Will your insurance provide _you_ coverage? Probably... unless you lied to them about who was living in your household at the time (which I doubt was the case). Will your insurance provide the driver of your car coverage? Probably... as he's probably going to be considered a permissive user. Has he ever drive your car in the past? If so... permissive driver. Did he have access to your car keys? If so, permissive driver? Did you file a police report for a stolen vehicle? If not, permissive driver.
People just don't have the opportunity to take a vehicle unless they have some type of access to the keys. Courts usually rule that this is permissive use.

Will you get canceled? who knows...will you see an incress in premium because your 'friend' is at fault for the accident...most likely.
