I was in an accident(lady ran a red light and hit us) and my children have minor bruises but the emotional damages are way worse. Their dad was killed in a car accident 4 years ago and ever since my car accident my daughter has woke up in sweats from nightmares and wont even sleep in her own room anymore! She is terrified to fall asleep. Am i entitled to compensation and if so who is responsible for paying for those damages, her insurance company??

CERTAINLY you are, for the pain/suffering and emotional trauma, have to taken her to talk with someone? If not consider this, if you don't see her improving soon. and the carrier may require it. Most adjusters would see the potental for trauma given your circumstances, but doubt it will amount to very much without her seeking help, (which they will aslo owe for). Be sure and let them know about her father.and if so who is responsible for paying for those damages, her insurance company??
The 'at fault' carrier will owe all of the damages, your other children should also have a small settlement coming. If you haven't let this handling adjuster know about these injuries do so immediately.
