i need help, i was rear ended in my truck a while ago, the person that hit me admitted fault and all was cool, later the truck was acting up the traction controll was going off every time i went around a turn, i finally took it to a body shop and they did some tests to say that the frame is bent, yet the insurance company (a large one) is saying to take the claim to my own insurance? it seems that they just dont want to pay? the truck dosent look that bad but i understood fram dammage is BAD and is a good enough reason to total ? adding to that note it will now have a dirty "car fax" and resale is going to be affected $5,000 i am told by the dealer?
what are key things i can tell my adjuster to make them just total it and do what they want with this truck?

You never asked them why and they never told you? I can think of two reason's why this would be said, 1) they don't think their insured's policy limits will be enough to address your loss and/or 2) they have not accepted liability yet.

Ask then how they arrived at this amount. When they can't answer it or give some BS answer you will see it for what it is worth.

Not a whole lot. Frames can be straighted. It's not voodoo these days. If the cost to repair the vehicle is 80% of it's value then the insurance company will probably consider it a total loss. If not, you can always take the repair money and buy another truck.
