Driving an elderly person as part of a service

I am going to be driving an elderly lady to her doctor appointments and going in with her as a patient advocate. She will be paying me for my services. If we are in an accident and the fact she is paying me, will my car insurance cover her? Or is there an extra coverage I need to get?

Usually the personal auto policy will have a livery exclusion. Each policy is different so you should read your policy and/or ask your agent (I'd read the policy anyway).
