Do I even have to talk to the OTHER INSURANCE CARRIER?

I was involved in an auto accident..I am pretty sure it is going to be ruled as the other person being at fault. Do i even have to talk to them??..They will be asking me questions to attempt to trip me up. It is not to my advantage.

Can I just tell them to refer to the police report, and to my statements given to my insurance already? Or have my insurance agent deliver that message to them?

You as the claimant will most likely be asked to give a statement to the at fault parties insurer. Standard procedure. And as indicated in the other thread, a police report doesn not list enough detailed information. Besides, you wouldn't want someone else to speak for you, much less someone who doesn't know the details of the accident itself. If you choose not to participate in a statement, your claim will not move forward.
