I want to learn how to sell final expense by telephone. From making the cold call over the phone to closing the sale over the phone.

Find and FMO/IMO that specializes in this and talk to them. Most likely they will also be big in the Med Supp business.

Good luck, unless you work for a direct response company. Antitelemarketing laws and Do Not Call lists have all but made cold calling by telephone unlawful. Hasn't stopped all the unlawful calls, but close to it.

IMO, the most important part is the 'trial close'. You've to be very careful and confident at the same time. Remember, the prospective customer might come up with any question. Whenever you need to explain, make sure you clarify all his doubts regarding that point. Then only ask the trial close question once again.
