what is the value of my case

Let's just throw this part of the question out as "injury to my back, neck" is simply no where near enough info to know what a claim is worth.

How long the adjuster takes to respond is up to your attorney and the adjuster. Typically for simply injury claims it takes 2-4 weeks for an offer to be made if nothing else is needed. Attorneys will usually place a time frame in their demand. But this just means that they will give the adjuster that amount of time before they file suit. They seldom file suit even if that time is exceeded. as an adjuster, if I need more time then has been give, I call the attorney and give them a time frame. Usually of the attorney does not hear anything in a few weeks they will call the adjuster to find out the status and time frame.

I love it when the attorney never calls you back. I have a slip and fall at a night club that happened in November of last year. I get a call from the claimant every few weeks complaining I am not doing enough. Each time, I inform the claimant that she needs to stop talking to me and talk with her attorney, she never wants to discuss a settlement/amount or anything, thats okay, I'll just keep billing for the phone calls. She tells me, "he doesn't return my calls either." Hmmm, I think I see a pattern forming.

It's too bad that hacks like "The Law Offices of David Gray" have the money to throw commercials all over TV stations with dialogue such as, "If you've been injured in a traffic accident, before you talk to the insurance company, call us for an evaluation of your case. The insurance companies are not your friends."

Well, David Gray is no friend either. He's just another hack looking for a quick 33% of other people's money.
