I have some sort of low water pressure in my house and have someone there right now checking for leaks. Is there coverage in my homeowners policy If we find damage. I have mercury Insurance

Damage to a pipe, no... that is maintenance... part of owning a home. Resulting water damage _might_ be covered. There are exclusion that may apply.

We can't get covered for our own negligence. As tcope pointed out, we could be covered for other damages. But as he said, exclusions apply, and so it's truly important that you go through the policy papers.

Such exclusions may apply at times, when you were not really aware of a damage being caused gradually over a period of time. But having said that it all depends on your policy clauses.
