I belong to a large woman's club. We meet 22 Wednesdays a year. We pay a caterer and then we charge our members for the food. Who should have the insurance. Does our club need it as well? Thank you

If the club is not a company of some type, it does not exist. Individuals would be sued. Do you (and the others) have home owners or renters insurance? If so, you have liability coverage.

Hey tcope thanks for your response. It seems that these club members can't have common coverage if they're not a registered co.

Hi tcope, if the individual members get sued, how will the risk be apportioned? Are their responsibilities equal?
Will all their home insurers share this risk?
