I am planning to get life and health insurance agent license. I want to know if this is the right time or make no difference?

There is never a bad time to become a licensed agent. Obamacare or not, the life insurance industry is not taking any special hits just yet. And with ESTATE TAXES due to come roaring back in another 4 months, it's going to be a good year for new life insurance sales in 2011.
Obamacare will not have an immediate negative impact on the commercial health insurance industry. With a requirement to have insurance or go to jail/pay a fine beginning in 2014, no one knows exactly how things are going to play out just yet.
What some of us DO KNOW is that Obamacare in its present form will utterly bankrupt America. So it might undergo some tweaks (or could even be repealed in the right circumstances) between now and then.
