I was in a head on and would like to know if the Ins. Co. Makes a offer and your truck is worth more what can you do to have them pay what its worth my truck is worth 25,000 per dealership and only 11,000 per Ins. Co. and because my truck is a total loss i longer am able to work it was an 18 wheeler and thats what i made money with can sue the Ins. or the insured for those losses i need help im inTX

How is the dealership arriving at their number? Ask the insurance company for a copy of their valuation and review it to see if its correct.

Yes, if you are losing work, you can ask for loss wages. You will need to be able to show that you could have reasonably worked during the time that your truck was damaged.

I just saw that it's an 18 wheeler. These values are difficult. Yes, ask the carrier for their info on how they arrived at the value. Feel free to submit _documentation_ to them to show that it's worth more.

I understand that. It will help the insurer to understand the value of the truck beyond doubt. But what document would suffice to prove his earning potential during the time that his truck got damaged?

Best to ask the carrier what they want as each adjuster is a little different. Usually it's your last tax return and last 3 months of pay stubs or documents showing income. If the person is self employed then expenses are deducted from the income.
