Husband & wife, 63 & 64, PA residents with 3 cars we

Husband & wife, 63 & 64, PA residents with 3 cars were both on car insurance policy. Wife no longer drives and no longer licensed. Shouldn't the insurance cost go down? Also, aren't men and women charge the same rate?

If she is not longer listed on the policy, probably.

No. Their driving habits differ. Young women get into less accidents then young men. Older women get into more accidents then older men. So the rates are adjusting accordingly.

Hey tcope that's good info..
You probably meant to say that we women need to pay more as we move up! If that's it, then you've cautioned many a driver like me..

Quite often we forget to inform our carrier about certain changes (in time) that we should. If we're negligent, it's not the fault of our carrier and it gets late for us to realize our mistakes.
