will i pay more for my insurance if i use an agent rather than getting a quote directly from the insurance company?

NO. There should be no difference in the premium when you use an agent compared to obtaining your coverage directly through an insurer's website.
When you use a "broker", on the other hand, you may be charged a "fee" for representation and related services. You must be advised of this in advance through a written agreement that discloses both the amount of the fee and the basis on which it is charged.

No you will not pay more. Also if you go to an independent insurance agent they will get you a better deal as well, being that they can shop several companies for you at once. Less work for you as well as more savings. Can't beat it. Plus an agent can tell you what you need to have coverage wise as well. If your in Ohio look us up!
