my tenant called me said his mother in law had fell down the stairs and fractured her shoulder,should I be concerned?.

My stairs are well built and highly visible morning and night,has railings and and is sturdy.

I told the tenant that if the person did not have the ability to climb stairs because of their age they should not ,and its not my fault if they were not careful and that I wont stand for them to scam my insurance company
I was told that they have no reports filed about the incident and no proof and also heared that they had collected money in the past from similar scams
