full coverage auto insurance?

im 15 and just got my restricted license. my dad has a car with full coverage but i cant drive it because im not on the insurance yet. but my brother,18, is on the insurance. can i legally drive it? and does the insurance cover the car if i by mistake wreck it?

If you are not listed as a driver on your father’s insurance policy, do not drive. If you are in an accident, you could really put your father in a bad place financially. It is not worth the risk.

Just to clear up any possible misconception, the term “full coverage” is used typically to refer to the coverage you have on the policy and does not pertain to who is covered to drive.
