Is there any life insurace policies out there for my 88 year

My grandmother is 88 years old and wants to get a policy that would at least pay for her funeral expenses , because she doesn't want to burden her kids with the expense.

Permanent life insurance policies like whole life and universal life can be purchased, but her health needs to be bullet proof. She's too old for guaranteed issue policies so those are out. You could also do burial arrangements with a funeral home to essentially pre pay for the funeral and get it at a discount.
