I slipped at my boyfriends house. I was walking down the hallway and slipped in something wet not sure whatit even was I broke both bones in my leg. I have already had to have one surgery to put a brace on my leg with pins and screws. In two weeks I have to have another surgery to fix the bones with screws and a plate. I cant do anything but elevate my leg. I do not have any short term disability or anything I only have health insurance. I will be out of work for about 4 months the doctor said. So have no income and bills still coming in. Can I file a claim with his homeowners insurance or would I have to sue him? Or is this even a possability? Please help----Stacy

ABSOLUTELY! That's what it's for. As long as you are an occasional visitor to the the premises, not a permanent resident of the house, there should be no challenges to having all of your bills paid, up to the limit of liability in your boyfriend's policy.

Just for fun, threaten your boyfriend with a lawsuit and see how he reacts! Might tell you if he's marriage-quality stuff.
