We recently had a fire in our condo located in Rotonda West, Fl. Should the air conditioning units and lanau's be covered by the condo association insurance?

What does it say in your CC&Rs? The A/C units are usually the responsibility of the dwelling owner, unless they are central units servicing an entire building.
As for a lanai -- was it connected to or separate from the main dwelling?
Not enough information given to permit a proper answer.
But your CC&Rs will have most of the information you need.

In response to your e-mail. What is CC&R?
The lanai is connected to the main dwelling with a sliding door connecting from the living room into the lanai and another sliding door from one of the bedrooms into the lanai
Thanks for you response
