Hello,
I was driving down the highway and debris from a truck flew and hit my car putting a good scratch in it. Is this covered under Comprehensive of Collision. I have Geico. Thanks!

Many states call "Comprehensive" coverage "Other than Collision." If you apply this understanding to your situation, you will easily recognize it as a "comprehensive" claim.
If the "debris" fell off the truck, instead of being kicked up by the truck, you would have a claim against the owner of the truck. Hard to prove, but not impossible.

Depends... where did the object hit?
If the object is laying in the road then it's collision. If it's in the air (flying object... which is one specifically named peril) then it's a comprehensive loss.

The object hit the side of my car. The truck was in front, to the left of me. Something came from the back (bed) of the truck and hit the side causing the scratch. It definitely came from the truck and not the road itself. it was one of those dump truck type trucks. They always have crap coming out from the bed and I have taken a few smaller hits before, but none this bad.

If it's just a paint scratch and no other damage (dent, etc) honestly you might be better off paying for the repairs out of pocket if you can't file against the truck driver. When you consider your deductible and the premium increases.... even if your insurance co. advertises "accident forgiveness" what they tell you is they won't "raise your rates" they don't tell you when you renew your policy your rates won't go down due to another year of not filing claims.... you'll probably come out ahead paying out of pocket or leaving it alone.
In this sort of situation your #1 priority besides staying in control of your vehicle should be to get the tag # and any other info you can from the truck so you can file against their insurance!
