What does his insurance pay? Does it pay for my car, hospitalization and endless bills? Does my own health insurance ever kick in? I have a head injury can I sue for a million dollars? If so, what will I get?

If pays for the damage or loss of your vehicle up to the policy limits. How it address your injury depends on the state laws where the accident happened.I have a head injury can I sue for a million dollars?

If your "damages" are the result of a third-party's negligence, that party will be responsible for paying your actual damages. If you use your own health insurance to cover any of your medical expenses, you health insurer will be entitles to subrogate its loss, and collect back from you every penny it spent to cover the expense incurred.
It will be deducted from your MILLION DOLLAR (or, most likely, much smaller) damage award.

it depends upon your insurance mostly , what type of legal insurance do you have , but the fault is first to be decided . as the people always point out the fault of other person .
