I have approved disability claim with prudential insurance.My policy lapsed 4 day ago.Can I have my policy reinstated by paying amount due and receive my monthly income benefits since the claim was approved before the lapse in the policy.What are the laws in Pa?

Is there a reason you allowed the policy to lapse? How much easier can it be to take the insurance company off the hook?
It would be a real Christmas gift if Prudential (or any insurance company) allowed a reinstatement of a policy that was about to pay a claim, when it would otherwise not be liable to pay anything.
