My husband co-signed a car loan for my 19 year old daughter. She had one rear ender..her fault in 2009. She is on our family policy which I have had for over 30 years .She just got a reckless driving ticket (going 88 in a 70 on the interstate). We are going to get a lawyer however, my question is should we drop her from our insurance before we find out what the final court charge will be? If she gets insurance from another company can we attach her to one of our older cars and tell them we took the newer car away from her? Will a new company even know that she is primary borrower on another car and does it matter? We have no problem taking the newer car away from her and don't want t defraud, but she lives with us and is a driver in our family. Thank you!!
