I was making a lft turn on a semi busy street . another car hit me on my passenger side and i went to the hospital so did the other party who would be at fault. If my car is totalled i just get the insurance money ? how long does this take and does the tow truck people charge for me being towed someone on the scene parmedic etc. said I didnt get charged if accident from the tow company. what about my hospital ambulance ride etc. at the hospital checking me out. thanks you Sandie

If the other driver is at fault their insurance policy should pay for everything up to the limits of their policy. That is what liability coverage is for. The other driver’s property damage coverage will cover your vehicle and their injury protection will pay for your hospital bills. As far as the tow company charging you for your vehicle, it should be paid for by the other driver as well. If you get a bill simply submit it to the insurance company as part of the claim.

hmm I thought in a no fault state your own PIP pays for the first 10k of medical bills. Then your insurance company gets reimbursed for the $10k from the at fault driver insurance.

That may very well be true. But there is no information about what state this collision occurred in.
