Have been waiting since over a week or more for adjuster to value damage to vehicle, how long should it take.

You mean all those commercials on TV telling you how you'll be pleased with the claim service speed are wrong????? I am bewildered; Can't believe Flo would steer anyone wrong.
The wheels of adjusting losses can grind slowly. Are you dealing with your own insurer or the at fault party insurer? Are they waiting on a police or accident report to determine whether they believe they are liable? Are you incurring storage charges while you are waiting for a determination? Are you being ignored by them intentionally because you chose to use a collision repair shop not on their preferred list? There are laws against steering work in many states. Is your car driveable? Legally driveable? Do you have rental coverage on your own policy? Are you waiting for the at fault party insurer to contact you? Did you know you may have more legal rights in the contract of insurance than you may have with another company representing the at fault party?

Have you called? I'd pick up the phone and call the adjuster.

have called insurance co, 1st adjuster could not view, due to snow, too much. Claims rep never gave me info on adjuster, they wanted to move vehicle so it would not accrue storage fees, and adjuster could view. When i called them again rep was very rude. Then called supervisor, same thing will have to wait. He only gave name of adjuster, much more involved than this, my insurance co, what a farce.... has been too long.
