I FOUND OUT MY CAR WAS IN AN ACCIDENT BEFORE I PURCHASE IT AND IT WAS NOT REPORTED ON THE CARFAX REPORT BUT I WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT AND MY INSURANCE COMPANY IS SAYING IT PRE EXISTING AND THEY WILL NO PAY THAT PORTION AND THAT IS THE PART THAT NEED TO BE FIXED FIRST WHAT IS IT THAT I CAN DO

What you can do is next time you buy a car... have it checked out professionally. There is no law that states Carfax needs to know about all prior damage. Also, Carfax is _very_ unreliable. The reason why every has heard of them is that they have a good marketing department.

if the damage was pre-existing, it means it was not part of the loss. therefore they cant pay for it. Tcope is right, it's unfortunate.
