fridge freezer problem with insurance

have an ongoing claim against comet as there engineer came to fix our fridge freezer only to find he over filled the cylinder that holds the gas, and it froze on the outside of the cylinder and started to leak all over the flooring we just had laid this has been going on for 7 months now it has been a nightmare the loss adjuster is comin tomorrow just wondered what to say to him thank you kindly

im not 100% clear on the question, but are you filing a claim on your homeowners insurance for floor damage caused by poor workmanship from the refrigerator contractor? if so, you'll have a claim count on your homeowners, and the adjuster will most likely deny the claim as workmanship caused by a contractor wouldnt be covered under your homeowner's insurance. your issue is w/ the repair man and should be filed against his insurance.

if you are filing against the contractors insurance... your question is what to say to him? tell him complete details of what has been happening over the last 7 months and the ongoing issues w/ the refrigerator and attempted repairs. please post the outcome, thanks.
