Gallagher Bassett

I was hurt at work. Gallagher Bassett claims adjustor is friends with a supervisor who's very dishonest and gossips alot. My claim has been denied 3 times. First because the adjustor told me not to fax her an doctor's excuse, she told me she'd call the doctor and never did. Then because they didn't believe I fell at work, but they never talked to the witnesses. I had a date set for a workman's comp hearing, but they accepted the claim 2 weeks before the hearing, then after I was granted an order for back pay and a weekly wage denied my claim again saying I was offered a job I could do with my injuries but turned it down which is another lie. I work for a major airline as a ticket agent. I hurt my back and hip. I can't stand or sit for more then 15 to 20 minutes, and I can't lift. The only job I could do would have to be laying down. I have a workman's comp lawyer, but I want to bring a civil suit against Gallagher Bassett and the claims adjustor. It has been 8 months since I've received a paycheck. I have used all my saving,my credit is shot because of this and my family has no medical, health or life insurance because my company cancelled it because I have no paycheck. I think Gallagher Bassett needs to be held responsible. I've yet to recieve a new hearing date and getting further behind on my bills and medical care. This injury could leave me with permanant damage,I have several doctors statements stating I need surgery, which is being denied. I have been to 4 IME's-one being a gyn doctor because Gallagher Bassett tried to say a fibroid I have was causing the problem. I know they have to be stepping on my civil rights!

If they are the WC carrier (and not just a 3rd party administrator) then have your attorney file suit. This is why you are paying your attorney.

Yes, it could leave you with a permanent damage if you keep on neglecting it. You shouldn't be facing more problems if you have all the medical statements in support of your claim.
