What does a one time offer mean

I was injuryed in a car accident on 1/05/2011 and I was a passanger and we were hit by a mack truck GEICO stated that they would give me a one time offer on medical, I've sent in the release form for medical I has been a month since the accident and I've lost time form school I'm a student at ECPI and I've lost 5wks from school so what does one time offer mean?

See, it's not just a one-time offer. You said it's a 'one time offer on medical'. That's what is most important. You may go through your policy papers or consult with your agent in this regard. It seems as if it counts your hospital bills and associated medical expenses only. Still you'd need to clarify!
