Do I have to keep making payments/why dont I get a rental ca

I had my trailblazer stolen and a total loss about two months ago.There is still no offer or settlement. Do I have to keep making my payments to finance company! I do not have the vehicle.And my insurance company said my coverage did not have rental car on it but I don't remember ever being asked.Do they have to get me a rental car?
