"ALL IN ONE" insurance

I just heard about a company that sells an "all in one" product that covers, home, auto, life, health, etc all in one product, but is labeled as "compensation for losses" rather than "insurance". It reads similar to being self-insured which my State allows.

Not only does is sound smart but it appears very affordable considering that all aspects of risk are covered in one product and that 2 people are covered under one plan. Another catchy part is that a portion of the monthly payments go into a savings fund so you can borrow against it if needed down the road. Hello!!! I like that ALOT! It beats throwing away monthly premuims to never be seen again...

This is either SUPER genious or something that insurance companies could be doing but they are not. I even considered the risk of joining and then assumed a catastrophy and if the company would be able to pay for my losses. Then I thought, well my insurance company couldn't pay my claims after the hurricane but FEMA sorted them and me out.... so it must be the same.

Has anyone heard about anything else like this?
