negotiating on my own with an adjuster

2009 I was in a car accident other driver was at fault his insurance company has accept 100% liability. I had soft tissue injuries in addition to a fractured wrist and finished treatment the middle of last year.
I have been in contact with his insurance company and we are in the middle of negotiating a settlement I have rejected to of their offers due to the fact they have not come close to the medical bills ($23k pip paid first $10k balance is 13k). Their initial offer was only 10k then increased to 12k after I rejected her offer (over the phone) We stopped communicating.
in February 2011.
Since then my arm began to give me problems so I went back to the ortho specialist and he referred me to a neurologist. The neurologist examined me and stated I may have a "pinched nerve" and now I have to have an EMG done to confirm this or he said "carpel tunnel syndrome"
I do not work and cant see how I have carpel tunnel syndrome.
What happens now since I am in the middle of negotiating with the adjuster? I do not know the outcome now and thought my wrist was healing slow but just figured that the dull aching, coldness and numbness I was experiencing would eventually go away..now the thought of possible nerve damage worries me.

I guess that's one reason why we don't accept a final settlement before we have a clear picture in front of us. During the course of our treatment, we do come across new challenges quite often. If this damage is worth a little bit more than what we're negotiating for then it won't make any difference. On the other hand, we might need to start negotiating all over again, and this time also, we need to support the newly identified damage with medical certificates.

yea I did jump the gun..I just want this to end..settling for my car (which was totalled) was alot easier but the adjuster I am dealing with is very intimidating and always cuts me off when I speak and explain my reason for rejecting her low settlement offer.
My medical bills are not inflated nor did I just go see doctors on my own, I was referred by my primary care doctor. The adjuster offers have been low and not even enough to cover my medical expenses for that reason we are at a stand still.
Well just have to keep my fingers cross there is no nerve damage or complications

I do empathize with you. I'm also a bit curious to know more about his reasons against yours. How can he turn down your claim regarding your medical expenses! Didn't you get things certified by your primary care doctor?

I sympathize with you. Surely injustice has been done to you.
It is really very brave of you to fight all long completely alone without anyone's support.
But as a friend i would like to suggest you to go for some professional assistance. Loss assessors are such skilled and experienced professionals who work solely for your interest. Try and consult one of them. They will surely get you the best and maximum settlement.

thanks meenakshidpfoc..I have settled the vehicle damage portion of my claim..just now trying to settle to injuries I suffered. I thought I would be offered at least the cost of my medical bills. The are all valid, I was taken by ambulance to er then to my primary doctor who set the ball rolling with the ortho specialist, then chiropractor. Frustrating dealing with people that really don';t have your best interests...
