Insure an . . .?? You typed too much in the subject line and not enough in the body of your post.
I'm assuming the discussion is about an older person. If that's true, to save on premium, he'll need to take and pass a "Mature Driver" course.
If he's a licensed driver, he can be insured by any company writing business in your state, as long as his driving record is acceptable. If not, then he'll have to use the state's "Assigned Risk" program. If he lives in your home, he can be added to your auto policy.
