Leak has not been confirmed, but considering no ice and huge water bill I just received, there can be no other answer.

Really? You have no other use of water in your home or garden. You can't be serious. If your icemaker was leaking you would have water all over your kitchen. If your icemaker does not make any ice, it might not have any water supply or it might be turned off -- did you ever think of that?
As for your high water bill, try looking for another source of the leak between the meter and the house -- that's probably where it is, if not a toilet that runs continuously.
Besides, if you think you have a leak, why are you asking insurance agents for their opinions when you should be calling a plumber?
