Hi,
As part of my divorce my ex-husband was to keep a $150,000 life ins. policy with me as beneficiary as I got nothing in the divorce. After taking a loan of the $18,000 cash value he stopped making pmts. I was able to find out and sue to get ownership of the policy. My ex is 71. I am 66 and still working and will get Soc. Security and still work next year. Due to his age the premiums are now $506 a mo. to keep policy in effect until age 85. He is not in good health but does it makes sense for me to continue to keep paying the monthly premium or put the $506 in another product?
