Wind Damaged Roof

Allstate says they'll pay to repair it, and my roofer says to take pictures of the lifted shingles where the glue isn't sealed and send it to them to prove that 80% have lifted. The thing is, you can't see anything because they lay flat, but if you lift up on the shingles, a whole lot of them are loose. If I put packing peanuts under the loose ones, you can see in a photo how many there are. Should I do this?

You shouldn't have to take photos of anything unless Allstate tries to avoid paying for all the damage. They'll send an adjuster out to look at and assess the damage. You can show him/her what you are concerned about at that time.
