I'm looking for auto insurance quotes. I do come across so many quote forms online. Are these online offers reliable? Do they give me a true picture of what I may have?

Yes, you're likely to come across such quote forms each time you search online. Most of these quote forms are gonna capture some vital information depending on which your probable rate is gonnabe calculated. Though it's gonnabe a rough estimate, still it can give you an idea if you'd provide them with the correct information.

What exactly do you mean by this? You have a particular vehicle (property), a driving pattern (to work, to school, for business, etc), and you have a driving record (your risk), and based on the amount and type of coverage you want (or need), the insurance company will tell you how much it will cost to cover those things combined.
Be aware that most "online quotes" for auto insurance are lead-generating devices that agents pay money for, not direct contact with an insurance company. For that, you should go directly to the insurance company's own website for a quote.
Your best course of action, however, is to find a local agent or broker who can help you identify your need and risk, and place your business with the company best suited to meet it.

This is certainly an important thing pointed out by Max. We do come across so many quote forms online. Little do we know regarding their authenticity. It is much better if we achieve a quote from a company's own website.
