Hi - i have been rear ended by an uninsured motorist. My vehicle was completely totalled. I had injuries at my head & neck and was off work for around 10 days. The doctors at the hospital stated due to the head injury i have post concussion sundrome. Currently i am undergoing some medical traetment and tests. Can somebody please tell me what shall be the value of my pain and suffereing i have incurred from this accident. I had uninsured motorist propety and bodily damage in the coverage and the limit of the value is Current Limit: $50,000/$100,000

Thanks

Nope. Maybe a judge or jury can.

Your UMPD coverage will pay for your property damage and the UMBI will cover direct losses (medical expenses, related expenses, and loss of wages). Beyond that, you will have to come to an agreement. Without permanent injury (such as loss of limbs or eyesight, or paralysis), this is not "worth" more than a few thousand dollars, perhaps, beyond your direct losses. Unless your medical expenses and lost wages are huge, you will not receive the full $50,000 coverage amount from your policy. The $100,000 amount is the maximum payable to two or more persons injured in the same event.
