I am currently working at an agent's office. I have been an adjuster for 6 years and they will not let me speak with any customers in regards to coverages as I do not have an agent's p&c license (I have an all lines Adjuster's license). It is confusing to me. I want to know what limitations I should really have on me at work.
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

I have a feel what the difference _really_ is, is what the company policy is. I work as an adjuster and can talk to people all day about coverage and their policy. But I can't _sell_ a policy or bind coverage. Just like an agent should not be settling a claim.
But the real question is what your company allows as a part of your job.

The limitations of discussing coverage depends on your state law (if you are in the USA).
Each state outlines what activities require a producers/agent's license.
